Become a confident swimmer

At some point after childhood, early on in my adult life, I realised I'd somehow forgotten how to swim well. I can sufficiently not drown, but if asked to swim up and down a pool, I will quickly tire and lose all remaining confidence in my technique. After saying I wanted to fix this for many years, 2022 is the year I plan to do something about it.

101 Things in 1001 Days

Today, I am launching my project for the next 1001 days (or, in long, that's roughly 2 years and 9 months). The project is to list down 101 things you would like to achieve in that time. I got the idea off a friend, and my aim is to inspire someone to do the same (y'know, that and actually complete the list).

The Sleep Challenge (week 1)

After a positive start, I admit I have been slacking a little. However, overall my sleep pattern has improved. As more of a night person I'm finding it difficult to persuade my body it's time to sleep at a time that - to me - seems too early (not to mention the ever present number of distractions available). Mornings aren't much better; it's all about motivation (or lack of). And that is something I am hoping to improve in week 2. Without further ado, here all the results of week 1:

Currently I'm stuck in the most relentless and annoying sleep pattern. A combination of unemployment, sheer laziness and post-adolescent nocternal altertness (OK I just made that up) has caused me to get stuck in the annoying late-to-bed-late-to-wake repetition loop. But this will change; and this post marks this change.
